Saw that particular teaser earlier. While yes, I am excited, it still doesn't have that zing that makes me think it will be among the great movies made for Star Wars.

I can't help but wonder, if this movie does bomb, is JJ Abrams the sole reason for it?

I tend to disagree. I feel like this teaser really got me pumped for the next part of the Star Wars story. While it may not be told like the lasts, just an extension of the universe on the big screen is amazing, to me at least.
