5 New Topics from The General Board are automatically pulled up on the index page, with links to each topic. This has potential as a good way to get guests to view the freshest topics that are made, and currently set up to let guests reply to all topics, but not make any.

As time goes on, I will make more boards, and try to figure out how to tweak the theme to allow more of the recent topics of all of the boards to show up on the index page.

Replies are named comments, so to make it more blog like, and to access boards, there is a board and category tree on the right side menu.

I don't get it, a forum-based blog? Just looks like a regular blog to me, the theme is really depressing and i have no idea what the forum is about?

It is supposed to look like a blog. The theme is a blog theme made for SMF. Plus there arent exactly other themes for SMF that makes a forum like a different styled blog. This is the only one I have found. 😉

Bound to happen. Maybe I should let people use the 2 default themes the software comes with, and upload more to be used, so that it won't confuse too much.

Just activated the following themes if you don't want to use the bloggy theme!

SMF Default Theme - Core (1.1.5)
Classic YaBB SE Theme (1.1)
Babylon Theme (1.1)
