Pros:
- Do like the banner up the top, it looks nice and really stands out. The nice effect of the way the text is written up is a really unique look. And personally anything that is unique and stands out is a good thing to have.
- You have done a nice job with the graphics, for example those controllers as icons is a nice touch, and its nice to see some custom graphics on your site, shows how much work your putting into it.
Cons:
- Your forums simple white, blue and black look could use a make over, for a gaming site I would like to see more colour and life in the site. I recommend having a look at other gaming sites around the web and looking how colourful most of the popular ones are, a good looking site is always a plus when it comes to attracting members, so my personal recommendation is for you to do a complete overhaul of your theme.
- I would also recommend that you retype your forum topic descriptions, as all of them simply say in as little words as possible what the section is and what t does. For example your welcome board says (Come and introduce yourself to us!), that to me is so plain and bland and bored me to tears. Why not spice it up a little like this, Come to the introduction board and meet all of our new members, if you’re new here or need to announce something to the whole community. Then take a stand up on the stage and share with us all your grand entrance or announcement, and don’t be shy it’s only a little stage fright.
- Your site needs more members and activity to it, some people will come to your site and instantly go due to lack of activity. Only having 3 members is a problem as well, I would recommend that you really start promoting your site, try some of the services around here at FP to get your site kick started.
Final/General Thoughts:
Overall your site needs a lot of work, and you really need to advertise and promote your forum to juice up the level of activity on the board. I would like to see your board in a months time as I recon if you work on it you can have a nice and active community, hit me up for a follow up review in a month mate.
