Um, what is this?

The General Forum is a network of services dedicated to providing users with a safe and fun online experience. All services are centered around the idea of promoting discussion on the world's most discussed topics. Along with the forum, comes other general services, including a 'Gatherings' website, a 'Support' website (for enlightenment on guidelines) and a Twitter page, for those avid media fans.

Cool, but I see other cool general forums. What's so special about this one?

Other general forums are just what they are... general FORUMs. However, The General Forum isn't necessarily designated to be a forum-script oriented website for avid forum participants. The word 'Forum' refers to the general community of the general people of the internet, and as such, the General Forum isn't just a forum, it's a lot more.

The organization's staff (commonly referred to as "the management") prides itself in adapting itself to the wants and needs of the members of the forum. Along with the goals of the management, changing and whatnot, so does the look and feel of the forum and other services.

Note that this does not mean that the services will be always changing, annoying you to death. There will only be minor changes and newly added features to better adapt to the wants of the community.

I'm hooked, how do I get started?

Simple... register on our services, and you're a member.

We're looking for forum staff to help us out with general management, from moderating topics, to administering various services. We'll be looking forward to seeing some capable people 🙂

It's a brand new forum, and as such, I'll work on adding content within due time.

That's the main issue at the moment - time.

Other than that, I'd love to see some activity to get things started. I wouldn't want to be the only one posting on the forum and other services.

I like the MyBB theme design that you are using. It might help to customise the home page of your site to match that design.

Thanks for the feedback. This is the kind of input I'm looking forward to.

So since the forum style looks pretty good, I guess I'll go ahead and implement the style onto the landing page.
