Description: The Gentlemann's Estate was a large community Founded in early 2012. But then went down due to the original owner having some real life "problems". So I took over a year after, with his full permission. We currently run Game Servers for the game called "Garrys Mod" on Steam. We just recently decided to start using our own Forum software(vBulletin 3.8.7) instead of the built-in Steam Group Forums.
We have a few different boards on our Forums... They range from General Discussion, to Trading Steam games, etc.
We would want to become a big community like we were in the past where people would simply just join to meet other members and talk about all kinds of things, kinda like the SomethingAwful.com forums if any of you know about them. We want to grow, and we want to have members from all over the world. Our Game Servers sometimes pick up forum members. We do Steam game, and item giveaways when we can. We want the best for our members, and we want them to be happy. We just need more members to help give us suggestions... We are open to suggestion 100%! Anything to make our community Forums look better. Anything to help our HOLE community look better! We're not in it for the money, I just simple like being an Administrator for a community. Face it, It may be a lot of work... But its fun.
We wan't to put our community 1st! But that's hard to do when you only have like 20 active users...
My goal in the future is to try to grow into a big discussion board that hosts game servers for its members to play on and have fun on! Not a community that has game servers and has a forum for SOME members to meet up on... I want the Forums aspect to be its key. I love web hosting, and I love HTML/CSS.
We have the key Forum/Posting rules that most Forums would have.
But we don't like to yell at members that made a small mistake in a thread...
We are trying our best to make our community a community where people can say "Yeah, I'm part of The Gentlemann's Estate, and I love it".
