Their packages is a bit different than the quick package. You could get more posts back then. 😛 More registrations too! Their guidelines look weird though.

When I was on package team you could get around 80 posts I believe.

I love Web Archive, you can see all the old sites. I like looking at Forum Advertiser. Another good one is Google 😛

What's also interesting was how packages was only open 25% of the time because of the huge backlog. Now I'd say packages is open 90%+ of the time.

The work load for the staff is never evenly distributed. When I was first on review team Victim quit and there was a huge backlog. I was the only one doing reviews for a while. Then later on there would be a few staff members that would tag reviews and such hours after they were posted, and complain that they were the only ones doing work.

Oh and for quite a long time graphics were a joke. Sometimes it would take a month to get graphics, and the team members that were actually doing things were overloaded with work.

That just gives hope to those who think their forum will not succeed. Look at how small FP was, and look at it today.

Yes, that gave me the inspiration I need to keep going with my own site. Hah. What was the deal with the Freeforums scam way back when?

It would be fun doing packages as you just post on their forum but I would hate having to do the posts for forums I don't think look good or genre's I have no understanding of. 😛

Not very, as every single forum that I have done a package for has folded.

It wouldn't be good if you had to do the whole package on your own and it changed from 15 to 30.
