I dont want to sound bad here, but what are your thoughts on watching the Holy Mass on Youtube? This wasnt very common previously, but today, I find that more number of 'busy' people are taking it to the internet to watch the Holy Mass.
Well it can't be more different than watching it on TV. There's channels that broadcast it all day or just on important days of the religious calender. It's really handy for people with mobility problems, like seniors.
I think it's cool. I can't have access to the local church channels abroad for example, so watching it live stream on Youtube is very practical. Or if you want to watch the mass on big churches at the other side of the globe when you know you can't fly there on a whim.
Being born and raised in a Catholic family and having schooled in Cathoilc universities, I claim to be a religious person. My first smart phone has the app that plays the Angelus twice a day. And although I haven't seen that Holy Mass on Youtube, I think that is a positive development to give busy people a chance to nurture their religious activities. But I am not interested in the Youtube version because I go to church every Sunday for the Holy Mass. Fortunately, the church is just a block away from our home.
I don't like to watch it on TV or a computer. You don't experience it nor do you fell apart of it. We do live very busy lives, but how hard it is to make 1 hour available to go to church for mass? It's always far better to be there and part of it, rather than watch it on TV or a computer. If we can't make at least 1 hour a week for God, we have a big problem and need to work on fixing it.
