We have decided to let you all know about our major update which will be happening. There are a couple of other things I will be announcing as well. You may be thinking why I am bothering to update you on Forum Promotion but for those who were members before the maintenance and didn't get our email can stay updated.
Changing our forum genre!
Our original genre was "marketing" (which is where the iMarket name came from) however the most popular sections were general discussion and barely anybody was posting in the marketing forum. So, we have taken on your comments and decided to change the iMarket in to a general discussion forum! Our name is NOT changing and the iMarket doesn't have to be a marketing forum.
Logo will be changing
Some of you said they disliked our logo and I agree with you on that! So, I have decided to get another logo which will be up on the forum as soon as we relaunch it and hopefully you will like the new one we will be getting. Our theme WILL be staying the same however we will be doing edits to it over the christmas period.
Forum Relaunching
We have been spending the time over the maintenance period to clear spam bots, un-needed posts/threads and so on. Although, we have lost loads of activity and therefore we have decided to start fresh and relaunch the forum. HOWEVER, all accounts will not be affected. We will be relaunching the forum on Sunday 11th December 2011 at 9PM! On that day, we will be giving away free premium membership to everybody who signs up/logs in on that day and posts in the thread.
Posting Competition - WIN PP CASH!
Due to the relaunch of the forum, we will be needing to boost up our activity A LOT! So, we will be hosting a nice and easy competition where you can have the chance of winning PP cash worth $30! I will keep you updated on this competition nearer the time but it is quite simple - earn the highest post count to win! Spamming will get you excluded from the competition and you will risk being banned.
