1. What do you think the future holds for the internet? I read that by 2012, the "population" of the internet is supposed to quadruple.

2. What does the internet hold for you and what does it hold for everyone else? Why do you come online every day and what do you do online?

I think for a lot of people they come online for the sense of community - thus so many people are in social networks like Myspace or Facebook. This is also why people frequent forums.

Another reason people come online is for information. Another is business opportunities.

3. What would you like to see on the internet that currently is lacking?

Personally, I think i'm an addict.. have been for a long time. I have worked in the internet industry since '97 and currently "telecommute" to do my job in an office out-of-town, so my income and family depend on it. If I'm not working I still have to be online for some reason or other.

I think the web probably won't change all that much in the next few years.. maybe new stuff that requires new plugins.. but i think the future will be with "internet aware" devices and appliances.. like a pencil sharpener that updates your twitter to say "I am sharpening my pencil". 🙂
