Last October, I had to take my writing exam for the HSPE's and failed by one point. Now, about 8 weeks ago I had my second attempt at it and managed to fail by half a point. I am not really sure why I am not passing because, you know, heaven forbid if they tell you why. I will admit my handwriting is not the best however it is very legible, and this time I around I managed to put in my thesis statements.

I have two more attempts and if I cannot manage to pass the exam on either of those two attempts, I simply cannot graduate. (I passed the rest of my exams with flying colors and on the first attempt.)

So has anyone else had any issues with their state testing before? xD

State testing sucks. It's sooo boring. But also easy. At least for me.

All of my tests have been quite easy; however for some reason the writing exam continues to haunt me. xD

Oh, yeah. I don't like the essays, but they're okay. Just time-consuming.

In Rhode Island, they were changing the state testing from NECAP to PARCC and somehow my junior class got to miss out on the English/Math/Writing versions of both tests even though we were originally supposed to take both. We still need to take Science NECAP though and I already have to make up a day of it due to my trip to Hershey Pennsylvania.

Standardized (state) testing a glorious thing... not.

Waste of time in most cases.

I have take the GRE - grad school exam - this fall and I'm not looking forward to it.
