Anyone watched it? I'm in love, have been from the start. I know it's a cartoon, but in my mind, it's amazing.

It's the follow up series to Avatar: The Last Airbender featuring Korra, the next avatar in line after Aang's death. Korra, while not facing a rowdy fire nation, has been challenged along with the safety of every other bender in the world by Hamon, a ruthles chi blocker who plans to take away bending.

Has anyone watched it? 😀

I watch it!

Actually, a formspring friend of mine is a big fan of it and has been talking about it. I had actually stopped watching Avatar the Last Airbender somewhere in season 2 when it was airing on TV, I don't remember why I stopped watching it.. but I just did.
But since my friend was talking about it, I thought I would watch the whole series this time and I actually watched the whole thing in two weeks, I started May 6th of this year and just saw the last episode on Saturday and I loved it. I watched LOK episodes Sunday morning, I have yet to see the 7th episode as I cannot find it online anywhere yet.

I like LOK, I think it's good. Although, I think I enjoyed Avatar the last airbender more. But it's still really good.
I've been wondering what they'll do if they make another series, like maybe go to the first Avatar or something.

Definitely unusual in that American cartoons are usually not taken seriously by their developers, unlike in Japan where voice actors for cartoons commonly rise to the status of celebrities. Just looking at the voice actor list for Legend of Korra shows that the person in charge of casting did his or her homework and did not cut corners.

Amon, not Hamon, heh. Terrorist leader of the Equalists, a powerful revolutionary group on the verge of taking over and globally expanding operations from Republic City, the capital of the world.

Thanks for correcting me? I think?

His name is Amon. Just felt like mentioning that as part of my post; would not have posted only to do that. Did I do something wrong? I had no intention to be rude.

Oh no Aang died?

I honestly didn't know when did that happen, I watched some of the first cartoon but never saw that movie. I'll probably check this out, looks like people on btn like it.

He died of old age, not from human cause. 😛

Wait. I hardly watched the show, but can someone clarify?

I thought the Avatar was a spirit, hereafter the avatar spirit. When the 'avatar' dies, doesn't the spirit enter a new body, making that body the 'avatar'? So therefore Aang isn't really gone...just in a new body..?

Yeah, basically that's how it seems to work.

Korra, is completely different from Aang.. which is interesting.

I'm surprised this show is so good. The first season of the original was mediocre, so I'd say I enjoy this more so far.

I started watching this since yesterday and really enjoy it alot. It has some nice humor to. That will make you smile or laugh.

I agree. It's less cheesy than the first series, and more genuinely funny. I need to catch up.

I've "downloaded" (apparently discussion about how I obtained it is against the rules so I won't say the correct term,) the entire series so far, currently on 8.

Anyways, Matt, I need to catch up as well

Yeah, watched the whole series (as to where it is now) and the Last Airbender like 5 times 😛 Absolutely love it.

The last episode in series 1 of LOK went a bit fast though - but I guess if there are only 14 more episodes, we can expect something fantastic from the creators.

sounds interesting,

i watched the original avatar series and loved it,

this one i have seen on tv but haven't actually watched it yet,

I watch it because I loved the originally Avatar series.

i should start watching this then, is it as good as the original avatar series?

It has a special charm that ATLA doesn't have, but it's really good too.
Although, it's a matter of opinion, so you have to decide for yourself!
