I just saw the trailer on the tv so I know hardly anything but the movie sounds good by reading IMDB. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0814255/ Has anyone heard of this movie? It has a couple of good actors in it.

Yes, I have been waiting a few months for this film name, purely because my favourite actor, Sean Bean, is in it. The film itself looks great though and there hasn't been to much bad stuff said about it.

The book is much better than the movie. First off, Grover wasn't black in the book (I'm not saying that black people are bad, I'm criticizing the movie's attempt at making it like the book) and Percy doesn't look 12.
I saw it last Friday, Great Movie. I actually liked Grover's out-going character that he has in the Movie more than his personality in the book. Although I still think they changed a little bit too much from the cast. Great Effects though.

Great movie... if you haven't read the book. It might just be called its own title with different names because it doesn't keep the book's story for the most part. No hill, no pine tree. Percy has black hair in the book, brown in the movie. The gods are just people with gold sprinkled on them. I could go on and on and on, but I don't want to.
