Well, I've had random male strangers, from the homeless to very wealthy but old 40+ (I'm 33 years old), hit on me randomly and wanting to recognize them as male. Have it eve happened to you?

It has to depend on where it's coming from. But of course if you don't feel comfortable, you are never obligated to answer any questions. You can politely but firmly say something short & then leave.
