What's the amount of forums you have been staff on at one time?

When I first started to get into forums again I was a staff member on around 5 or 6 forums. I also was actively posting on my own blog. At first I was able to juggle everything fine, but I of course got quickly burned out after a couple months and I didn't have enough time for each one. I ended up retiring on all but 1 of them rather than staying and not really contributing. Would never do that agin lol. For me, 2-3 max is enough.

I was modding 2 Ikariam servers and MMOLife (Think it's extinct not). So that makes 3 forums for me.

The most staff positions I've ever held at the same time was two.

I was on the Community Team here at FP a few years back and I ran my own forum at the same time.

For me it's one time only on someone else website, I personally run one website and another just seating there. Three totally.

I was a Moderator for around 8 months, then I left because of the crap disrespectful administration. About 4 to 7 weeks later her closed down the site.

For a while I was just accepting every position offered to me lol.

I know I was a community mod, eventually admin at one, while working there I probably held about 10 other staff positions. Usually community, while also running my own forums. xD This was back when I was around 13ish or so. 😛

Most likely to be around 4-5. It can be difficult juggling a number of positions at once. That's why it's best to stick to 2-3 at the most. The less the better, because then you'd be more focused/dedicated to a certain position. 😛

Moderator at a site called Forum Advertizer. It was a great forum back in the day and it was the main competitor to FP. Obviously this is a favorite of mine as well because I have been on the Review Team, Graphics Team, Community Team, Community Team Leader, Review Team Leader, and now Administrator.

I never really have had many other staffing positions other than those two that I really committed myself 100% to.

At one time? Oh let's see, 4 I think. I've never really gone above 4 forums.

It was back when I was first starting moderating on ProBoards, and tons of promotion forums were popping up and I was getting hired and then quitting a few weeks later on them all, it was hard to keep track. 😛

I've only been staff on like 3 at once. I generally don't want to go past two; that's enough for me.

...I remember the rivalry between that forum and this forum. Those were interesting times, but it was all harmless for the most part.

Oh yeah. It was a very fun time period! I wasn't even a member here, just at FA.

Ah yes, that time period was 2007-2009, when a lot of us burst onto the forum scene with our dial up and DSL internet connections. 😛 :nyan:

Before that I didn't even have a computer or the internet.

Oh dear Lord... A couple advert forums for sure (I was a package team member briefly here at one time) at least 2 general discussion forum, one religious based forum... long story short... too many to name lol.

Back in the day where I visited 20 forums at a time, I might've been moderator on 5 of them...

Other than my own, I've probably been promoted only several times. All of those forums failed, though, due to their owners not putting in enough time to flesh out their forums.
