holderhost was founded in July 2012 and was originally providing hosting from a reseller account from a reputable provider.
It's amazing to think how far holderhost has come. Technical administrators are working to setup holderhost's new dedicated server: securing and optimising it. We will be sending clients an email about the transfer from our high -end vps "Zebra" to the new dedi.
The new server is located in the BHS datacentre in Montreal, Canada.

Frequency: 3.4GHz+ / 3.8GHz Turbo Boost
RAM: 32 GB DDR3
Hard disk: 2x 2TB SATA3 RAID1

Some added benefits of the new server:
- CloudLinux OS
- cPnginx
- cPRemote
CloudLinux isolates users by creating a virtual environment for each individual account. This is great for performance. If one customer causes a load spike by using a large amount of CPU/ Memory, all accounts on the server could be affected and go down. Under CloudLinux, this won't happen as resource limits can be set per account. CloudLinux will also allow clients to select different PHP versions depending on their needs!!
cPnginx is Nginx for cPanel. Basically it improves Apache. Here is a graph of a load on a cPanel server before and after installing cPnginx:
A lower load = Speedier site loading times for holderhost hosted websites!
cPRemote will offer clients the ability to manage and restore backups for their account that we take automatically.
