Domain and Advanced Access
Many of you may be old members of The Nintendo Gamers. If you have not heard, we now have FTP access and our running on our own domain. (Nice, huh? )

phpB3
Unfortunately, the phpBB2 version of The Nintendo Gamers was hacked and we had to restart to those who have tried to log on and failed. But on the bright side, when we restarted, we had installed phpBB3, allowing us to install a new style without messing with the MOD's and we still got almost all the features we needed without having to install anything. 😀

Current Situation
Currently, we are doing very well with our new phpBB3 forum. We have almost two and a half thousand posts with only 37 members. 8) Our staff seem to be putting in much of their time to help and so have our members. It makes me glad to have them.

Oh, I apologize for double posting, but we have just started our monthly User of the Month contest. Let me see if I can get the rules for it. If anyone has any suggestions, I will be taking them for adding them to the User of the Month Rules.

Welcome to the biggest contest of TNG that only happens 12 times every year. :lol:
You guys are going to compete for the top! This month there is just going to be first place.
Checkmate and I will be hosting it.

Rules
-We will be using a scoring system this time.
-We are not voting.
-I may be using the usergroup system.
-Rules may change over time.
-Do not ask to be user of the month through PM's.
-Questions for User of the Month should be directed to me or Checkmate.
-Staff will not be competing.

Scoring System
As it is mentioned, we will be using a scoring system which the staff will direct.

You get and lose scores for the things below...

100 Posts :: 10% (Starting when this is posted. Please keep track yourself.)
Bringing in a Member :: 50%
Bringing in an Active Member :: 70%
Designing for TNG :: 25%
Other :: 1-24% (Staff Decide)
Get Warned :: -10%

I will be updating this if anything changes.

Want a forum? :: The Nintendo Gamers

The Nintendo Gamers has now released a new program to their members allowing them to create a board for posting.
We offer this to anyone who can receive the minimum post count. We offer our boards in phpBB3 or phpBB2 and we randomize link to the users forum. We will install MOD's for the user for every 100 posts they have.

We really hopes this encourages posting from our users.
