The Off Season

For those of us with boards that are more 'seasonal', what do you do whenever your chosen niche is 6+ months away?

I run a board based around music festivals, which a look at search traffic shows are most popular around lineup announcement time (lots of big fests have them come out late february) with a huge drop in searches during Q4. To get around this, I've molded the board around live music discussion, as shows are something that's gone to year round. Recorded music is also something that doesn't go out of style just because the weather's not nice out 😛.

I don't run seasonal forums. Mainly because of what you said above. However, if I were to run one, (say a Christmas forum) I'd talk about it in advance, and maybe even talk about a different part of history every month.
