Depends on how much traffic you get, if it's a banner/link ad, how big the ad is, where the ad is, etc. If this is going to be for a brand new forum I do think it's a bit high. 😉

hmm thanks. it is for my site we we have 200 new visitors every week and it is on our front page and it is small but i may make it a long banner.
