Oh damn i mis read it, they want to get a new character on season 3. -lol-

They better bloody make it longer that 6 episodes. And ghost what do you think of it then? Does it live up to American comedy? (Which i know is pretty different to ours). And yes the show depicts exactly what the normal youth here do...or the inbetween lot do, (like me before 18 haha).

It's much better than anything American i've ever seen, the IT Crowd was as well... it just doesn't compare in my eyes. With restrictions on things Americans can watch, they've "brainwashed" the older generation into thinking what is one the inbetweeners would be "horrible, sick, and wrong". Meaning, if they were to air it not only would they get sued for breaking FCC laws, but also they wouldn't get much money from the ads ~lol~ (lack of people watching)

Yet another reason I love this device called "teh Interwebz".

yeah i've played the last two. i've always wanted to play the first two tho.
yeah the first one you can get for free off of their website, its freeware now. There are really 6 games, just that two of them aren't really continuing with the series, but for example battlespire is one of them where all you do is go through a giant ruin, and Red Gaurd is more of an Action/Adventure game -😉-

Hello everyone, this is the first post i've ever made on FP from a laptop >.>

I'm installing Linux Mint 7 on it for my grandma, but while it's downloading I got bored and haxxed into my GMail account (because I don't actually know my passwords) and reset mine here at FP ~lol~

This is a really nice Dell Laptop, I believe it's a inspiron 1525 (least that's what it says on it). Can't wait until I get one like it, or at least a netbook this summer ~cool~

By the way, I can't get to my MSN account other than on my phone, so if you message me keep in mind that i'm mobile ~wink~

Edit: Yeah, my grandma uses Linux and Opera ~biggrin~

lol leo you got a good grandma then, most would probably use Windows 2000 with IE 6 -lol-

Oh yesterday she wanted me to wipe a laptop with Win95 on it ~eeeek~

She's got little bit of the "money" thing everyone likes...

I'm going to dual boot Mint 7, since right now it has Vista. Just waiting on the download to finish (I'm too lazy to config her router to port forward a bittorrent client, so i'm using http ~rolleyes~ )

Edit:
ATTN: Linux Mint 6 to 7 upgrade path just released!

Burning the .iso file now... hoping this works cause I think it's supposed to be a liveDVD but she only has CD's (and I doubt I could get it loaded on a FlashDrive - Though might look into it)

If that doesnt work out. Why not go with xubuntu. Its less resource hogging and its probably one of the best linux Ive used thats based on ubuntu.

@orc_dragoon
Haven't tried that quite yet, but Linux Mint is probably the best looking and most userfriendly of all the known distros, and it comes with all the media codecs built in and most driver info. Easy for her to use ~wink~

I did run Ubuntu for a little while, didn't love it to be completely honest. I like Mint because it's closest to the Windows system, while still being Linux. Easy for new Linux users to manage, and is stunning when it comes to graphics.

Turns out it's a liveDVD and she doesn't have one, so i'm just gonna chill here at her house until it's time to go. I'll steal the liveDVD I make next time i'm here to install it on my system ~razz~

I'm aware, that's actually how I did the install on my computer. However I checked the BIOS on this laptop and it can't boot from a flashdrive, so loading it onto one with a program like UNetBootin would be a complete waste of time (other than for my computer, but I can just use the DVD later).

Good to see someone else with some Linux know how though ~smile~
---------------------
Edit: I got it working before I left her house ~lol~

Now I'm home, and i'll install it some day this week or wait until school's out. I don't want to lose everything but I do want a clean install to I'm going to dualboot it for the time being and transfer things over as I need them. Also thinking about throwing Win7 RC in there as well.

Hello.
I am looking forward to windows 7.
I have not tried BETA as i have nothing that i want a virtual drive on or risk wrecking.
