It's nothing like King Kong. Infact, there isn't much like it full stop. The whole way it's filmed is completely different to almost all films and it's a welcome change and well worth a watch.

Yeah, you are with them, you see what they see, you experience what they experience which is what makes it so realistic and enjoyable and really brings you into the film.
