Well, for a long time I said "Freedom Of Speech" when I cursed. However, the first amendment states The amendment prohibits the Congress from making laws "respecting an establishment of religion", impeding the free exercise of religion, infringing on the freedom of speech and infringing on the freedom of the press.

In other words, freedom of speech does not mean you have the right to say whatever you want if it's of obscenity.
