that's the one I downloaded and it's the .xml file that I am using, but whenever I upload MyBB themes it always puts a solid background and makes the post icons what they are 🙁

You have to upload the images too.

i have tried, but they never upload. I followed a tutorial that said just upload the .xml file, but that didn't work 🙁

Upload the leaf directory, including all subdirectories and files, into the images folder in your installation.

So go to your images folder and stick the leaf folder in it. And Ensure both Import Stylesheets and Import Templates are checked when you import the .xml file.

And it should work.
