I will let you in on a tip, always look for reviews on web-hosting forums and if they have tick, tick, tick, tick, for most of it then go with it. Paid hosting is better in my opinion.

Can't beat it! Also, go with what peopel recommend to you - and take into consideration their support - I pay a premium for my support - I don't use it much, but 24/7 live & phone number support if I need it = good! 🙂

Looks like they probably overloaded their servers. Silly hosts that oversell! 😛

I can't afford paid hosting, and I was recommended this host from a friend so i thought they were good. Well nothing to do now but wait and work on Fiction Lovers 😀

Well PayPal doesn't require card activation to send money, so it may be a plan?
 
You don't need a credit card to cash out/send money to someone or the host, but on some cases it may not happen.
If you can earn a good £15/$ minimum of £20/$ you can get some really good hosting plans.
 
well< i can't even get the money. Each time I try to get a donation, it says I can't because I am not verified.
 
Hmm weird. Well I tried to help. All I have to say is either you find a really trustworthy member to hold the money for you until you need it.
 
All you did was hit 4 people with lighting. 😛

True story, 4 people did get struck by lightning.
