My new awesome tech, webmastering, multimedia etc schools starts soon also, 29. August.
So excited! Going to learn so much stuff, like coding, marketing, PC hardware, OS basics...Graphics, video editing, vectors, music editing, online advertisements, communication with clients + so much more! The whole package!

Sort of like a technical or business school, perhaps? Because when you mentioned things like coding and marketing, that was the first two that I thought of...

Homerunsox: Yeah, but then he mentioned marketing as well, so that's why I thought of business/technical school. Of course we could both be wrong, and different countries use different names for the kind of thing he's going for, but still...

@Volux - I would definately go for MyBB. I may be a bit biased since I make plugins & give support for mybb, but honestly, it will be the best in the long run.

It has awesome plugins & it is easy to get support. I can't say the free themes are the best, but if you have some money to spend it is easy to get a custom one. 🙂.

I would even say MyBB. I mean, I myself use phpBB because I love the look and layout, but I also have to rely on a tech admin for installing mods and themes. So definitely MyBB, then hopefully you can do at least somethings on your own.<br /><br />-- Thu Aug 18, 2011 12:49 pm --<br /><br />

I don't hold grudges against people, and no way on this Earth would I ever do something as low as going to someone else's home and give them crap for hacking my and someone else's forums. Really, the only thing that can be done is make backups more often and advise all to change passwords ASAP. Also, keep in mind that I am not very good at arguing, so that's another reason why I don't see this going over very well: Sometimes I just wind up dropping it so the other person gets their way and hope for the best. I''m not up to causing unnecessary trouble. There's enough drama on the Internet and Real Life as it is. I already have a tight schedule going for me, so this is actually out of the question.

It's dangerous no matter what. It's nice to say that the internet is all butterflies and rainbows, but you truly don't know who all you are talking to on the internet. For anyone to go to a hacker's house to talk to them about hacking and threaten to sue them; well, that's just crazy. I don't know about you, but that's how you find a gun or something in your face, being threatened with a law suit. If these hackers are ever bothered for their hacking in real life, it should be the police bothering them, not some person who is annoyed at them for hacking.

Which is why I still would never do anything like that. Not everyone is who they say they are online. Someone could come up to you and say, "oh, so and so did it" only to have the wrong person be arrested or getting in trouble with the law at all. So really, you have nothing to worry about with me, because no matter what I would never try anything like that. Trust me. Its the Internet. There's not a whole lot a person can do anyway.
