We have an occasional tornado, but that's really it. There was a horrible flood in 2010 (known as "The Flood of 2010") but many people consider that as a "100 year flood," as in it probably won't be happening again in my lifetime.

The Flood of 2010 was really bad. It wasn't just in Nashville, it was all over Tennessee, Nashville just gets all the attention because it's the capital. I really love what it says around the one minute mark:
"A large portion of why we were being ignored was that we weren't doing anything to draw attention to ourselves. We were handling it on our own."
That is so true, it's the reason why few outside of Tennessee knew about the flood.
