Looking at getting some new Michael W. Smith CDs this evening. Hoping to somewhat complete my collection.

I gotta admit the album cover for MWS 2 is nothing short of hideous, but I am a firm believer of the golden rule that one should never judge a book by its cover, and this also holds true with albums as well. Just because the cover looks hideous doesn't mean the songs aren't gonna be good. I have heard some samples and it looks like a fairly decent album.

I remember when I had MySpace a year or so ago. I was watching a video featuring Michael W. Smith and another religious singer, Steven Curtis Chapman. There was one segment in the video where the guys took turns interviewing each other (sort of like the peer to peer review service here) and they were talking about the best and worst album covers they'd come out with. Smitty, no less, actually thought of the same lines as I and said that he was not crazy about the cover shot for MWS 2 at all. In fact, he said he even thought at the time, "what the heck was I thinking?!" Very interesting interview, and I'd post a link but I haven't been on MySpace for months. I mostly use Facebook now.

Hey everyone!

I think downright hyper would be the more appropriate term

I'm not too bad, thanks. And yourself?

Always a plus! Though maybe I should try to not look like I am in a good mood. Some people hate happy people. 😀

That's why you don't read the questions, you just put random answers for each and everyone of them. Works for me. 😛

Personally, I think it's awesome that you're in a good mood, to be honest. Better to be in a good mood than to be in a bad mood, that's for sure!

Just took the ACT test.

Did that during.... I think it was my senior year of high school. It was embarrassing, because of my LD, I had to have all sorts of modifications such as more time, having the test read to me, etc. Would never want to go through that again.

And to make matters worse, I spent most of my school career in the LD room, where the work was easier for me to comprehend and actually get good grades on so that they could even consider promoting me to the next grade level. That's another reason why it was embarrassing when I did the ACT... because while I did study the same things my peers did as far as lessons goes, the information was presented differently for me than it was for them. For example, they were encouraged to come up with their own questions prior to a quiz or exam, our LD class got study guides as a sort of hint as to what to expect on a test. So yes, there are advantages to being an LD student, but there are just as many, if not more, disadvantages as well.
