Well, my day ended pretty badly. In my final class, I had gym. We played 3-on-3 basketball. We played street (no rules), so fouling was allowed and we didn't even have any out of bounds areas, so the ball was still playable behind the basketball goal even. There is a wall like a foot behind the goal. Anyways, there was a lose ball due to a bad pass and it went flying towards the wall and someone on the other team and I raced for the ball. The ball was in the air, and he was in front of me (he had a head start), so I jumped for it basically and my shoulder slammed him into the wall really hard in the process. He got extremely ticked off. He was embarrassed, as the rest of the people were laughing, and he shoved me as I was walking away. I thought, "Okay, well, I deserved that." So, I just sort of ignored the push and continued on walking to the center of the court as I generally played point guard. As my back was turned and I was walking away, the guy punched me in the jaw, full force, while I was defenseless and not paying attention as I had my back turned. I didn't even see the punch. Just about no one did, as we were all like "Well, that's that, let's get on with the game." Only the person who threw the punch and one of my friends actually saw the punch. Honestly, if everyone playing would have seen the fight, we would have had a brawl right then in there, as a person far more muscular than me and bigger than me punched me while I was defenseless. The punch itself just shocked me. Honestly, it didn't even hurt too bad. My gums caved in a bit and went into my braces, and my braces stabbed my gums ever so painfully. I am used to such pains though as you can expect them with braces, but my gums were even caught in my braces. It just made a lot of blood, I kept playing though, even though I had like a puddle of blood in my mouth once the game ended. One of my friends who played and didn't see the punch was completely clueless, he didn't know I was punched until afterwards. My friend who did see the punch was speechless about the punch. He said just like one sentence about it. He was absolutely shocked. He saw it, described it basically as this "You (me) weren't even looking, and he punched you full-force with his fist right in the jaw." He seemed disappointed in the guy who punched me as it's a real cruel move to punch someone who wasn't even looking.
That's how my day ended.
