Rep is mainly used for people to tell someone they like someone's post. Over my time on FP, I have angered many people not really giving them a reason to rep me. Moderators tend to do that. Then I quit and stopped posting so there's been a large span of time in which I haven't done anything worth being repped over so it's not that shocking you have more rep then me.
