I'm just google around and came across this image of the Old Forum Promotion

Yep, that screenshot's pretty old! Any idea when it was taken? I think some of the usernames are Halloween usernames, but I'm not sure. Community Matters hasn't been named "Community Matters - Your Questions and Suggestions" since quite a while ago!

It was around October of 2013, just from my archive searching.

And yeah, it looked way different then! A lot of the forum names were even different.

Is that theme still around or at least a similar theme?

This be a awesome suggestion! Why not bring back The theme to FP. I'm pretty bored looking at the current one and it needs a new look anyway.

Vote for a new theme....

There's nothing wrong with having options. At least a light and a dark skin to choose from. :shrug:

I know of atleast one person that wanted a dark theme, due to site issues with a light theme like this one.

You guys are making me feel old. I joined in May 2008 when i was 14, now I'm 22. That's crazy.

When I first joined, FP was still hosted at freeforums.org. Within months they shifted to a domain and were still using the old AcidTech black and blue theme. Then they switched to a custom theme by Christian Bullock, which I loved. We had a black and white theme option. Then eventually they switched to the one mentioned in the first post, and many more since then.

I've seen good times and bad times on this site and I love it all.
