The Onion is a website that regularly publishes fake parody news. Its fun. You all should check it out.

Love it, and hate it. Sometimes they post really funny stuff, but sometimes it's just dull and not even interesting.
 
OMG, you people haven't ever heard of The Onion?? It's AWESOME!

I am a regular on that site, and an Irish one called Waterford Whispers. The funniest part of WW is most definitely the comments. People get so upset on there when they don't realise it's satire. XD.
 
@Empire: It's satire. You're not supposed to take it seriously. That's the point. If you know your politics, pop culture etc, you'll probably find some of their articles hilarious, others not so much. In my opinion, WW is better, but maybe only because I get Irish humour. 😛

The intention of satire is not to fool you into thinking it's true, it's to make you laugh. >.>

Some people take things too seriously and don't know when to take a joke. I guess they don't have a sense of humor?
 
I remember one of their articles in which Neil apologized to the public and told that moon landing was a fake episode designed to give Americans a scientific and technological boost 😛
 
Haha! I used to read that. It's a good site! Some of their gags are kinda lame, but it's fun nonetheless.
 
Its in my bookmarks, I have a read through sometimes when i am bored. Its an amusing site.
