I get that from time to time with certain anime. Such as One Piece or Black Clover. They are really long anime so over time I get bored of watching them constantly so I will take some breaks and come back after a little while to recharge my energy and passion for watching those.
Yep. I watched all the way through them finishing Gun Gale arc and going back to to the fairy world but never watched anything beyond that.
Probably doing the same thing I am doing now in the IT field.
