Everyone claims to have a secret technique to getting more Facebook fans. Some people buy fans and likes, others say the way to get people is with content. But really once you have attracted those people to your page, you need to go much further to keep them coming back. To ensure your fan not only likes your page, but comes back, you have to treat each one as special. Appeal to each person who likes your page by engaging them on your Facebook page. Post polls, controversial debates (which require fan to pick a side); ask for suggestions; offer content that is not available on your main site or any other site. If a fan takes the time to comment back on your page, don't just say 'thank you' and let it go. Talk with each person who comments on your page, much as you would on a forum, in a casual and conversational tone. As more fans see the fun conversations going on at your page between admin and fans, they will want to jump in and participate. To get conversations going, ask your friends to come by and comment on your page, not just like the page. This will give you some initial content to start conversations with.
