Appearance
It looks pretty good, the dark skin actually works out well and everything is readable. It's very clean and pretty organized. The banner especially looks great and matches very nicely with the color scheme of the forum. I like the slogan too, it seems very fitting and appropriate the category of your forum. Just a quick tip: be careful with the colors, you're working with a dark skin. So for example, I'd brighten up the gray on the member groups and a couple of the other colors because they're a little hard to see ( i.e. I can barely read out "Durmstrang Professor"). Other than that, the overall look of the forum is fairly satisfying.
Layout
You have quite a lot of forums for a site that just opened not too long ago. There's quite a few of empty ones and this could potentially turn away some guests because it signifies that the place isn't very active (though actually it is quite so). A couple of suggestions: You could try and condense a couple of them so they aren't too specific. There's nothing wrong with starting small! Otherwise just make some threads there so the activity is spread out and you can improve the first impression some more. It's a good start and seems pretty consolidated at this point.
First Impressions and Interest
Though dark skins aren't my typical preference, I can see that you considered this very thoughtfully. It looked a bit cluttered at first sight because of the three-sentence descriptions applied to merely every forum category. Though the colors are consistent, it just seemed a little bland (emphasis on "little") of all the black and white. There's several ways you could optimise this forum with some coding. PhpBB is one of the forum softwares I consider as the most static (meaning there's not a lot you could add to it to make it more interactive or dynamic) but I definitely think you could compensate for this by just learning a few tricks and tips. My overall interest on the forum was fair. It was pretty unique to make a site of this type, though Harry Potter is a common topic. Make it special and really appeal to the aesthetics. They can really help out with attracting members.
Content
The content is great, though there's not a lot. However, that's understandable since it's a young site. Actually looking at the posts, almost every single one of them is more than 5 lines of text. The content is rich in quality and I'm very pleased with it. Keep up the flow and make sure your members are participating in the discussion. On the other hand, there's a lot of unanswered posts, just threads. And the threads themselves are a little cliched, especially in some of them such as Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. So activity needs to be encouraged in this way. In totality, content is fairly balanced. There's some room for improvement so I expect to see some more replies in the future!
Words from the Reviewer
For a forum that's been up for 3 days, it's really not bad at all. The discussion and roleplay can get pretty interesting and exciting and this really helps to bring more members and posts to the forum. Quality is the key, not quantity. I also mean to mention that it was quite surprising to me that there are already nearly 350 posts! I hope everything goes well and best of luck to your forum!
