The Simpsons: Is it anime?

So, Matt and I are in a heated debate on whether or not The Simpsons is anime. I say it is, and Matt says it is not. What do you think? Is The Simpsons anime?

Anime (DEFINITION): Any animated movie or television series that was produced in Japan, with the exception of Dragon Ball Z.

Sinon got it right. Not Anime. Americana cartoon...Funny stuff, but after 15,000 seasons I think I am a bit bored of it. Just me I guess.

Anime cartoons and The Simpsons look extremely different.

If The Simpsons is Anime so is Family Guy and I'm sure Japan wouldn't be happy if you said they made that.

American created animated shows are called cartoons.
Japan created animated shows are called anime.

American animated shows are usually never as good as Japan animated shows.

Anime is simply the best.
