In the 1970s, there was an American female singing trio that started the dancing music. Their songs filled the airwaves because they became the favorite of the public and radio DJs were beset with so many requests. When Will I See You Again was the most popular of their songs that it stayed in the charts for a long time. Called the 3 Degrees, the group is composed of Valerie Holiday, Helen Scott and Freddi Poole. Their other songs that became hits were Woman In Love, Dirty Old Man and Make It Easy On Yourself. If you haven’t heard yet, they have a version of MacArthur’s Park set in a dancing melody.
