The stimulus check?

While getting "free money" is nice, we can't just keep printing money. It has to come from somewhere. Prices for everything are going up, gas, food, housing & construction, etc and this is in no small part due to the government just printing money for things like stimulus checks and the trillion dollar packages our government is spending money on. Plus, the extra $300 unemployment boost, which is a form of stimulus check, is making it more profitable for people to stay at home rather than work.
We can't keep spending money without creating value for our money, or else we just get real bad inflation where yes, you might get a stimulus check, but you can't buy as much with that check because the money is worth less.

My reasoning for staying home is something I already know or knew in 2018. I moved from California because of the corrupt Gavin Newsom, who is a Democrat in a Super Majority state full of Democrat voters with a subsection of liberals, with a growing socialist population. If you think for a second, that Socialists don't exist...

I am simply waiting for that calm before the storm, and waiting for the right time to get a job, secure my investment from well-known investors, or something to that effect. But I didn't fucking ask for this shit. I am an actual Startup founder that's trying to grow, but this chaos is causing uncertainty for me. Its causing me to rethink things, and look at new opportunities. Because as of right now, I live in Alabama, with no knowledge of where to start, where to find my customers, how to find investors, and so on. The list is extensive, and I am really frustrated.
All this bullshit is just annoying. I know one thing. I am never voting for a Democrat ever again. Unless we have a smart president like Obama, but I regret voting him in just solely on Democrat policies.
And, as of right now.... Biden's policies are a repeat of his tenure as VP, and some are comparing him to FDR or Jimmy Carter. He is causing the entire economy to record lows for the "Elites" reset.
The difference between 2008 and now is, from my view, 2008 was an organic crash. An organic recession, while as we speak is Biden... our president is causing it. I call this a "fake correction." I call this a fake reset.
I have Stimulus money waiting somewhere in government. They owe me more than 3 grand. But even then, I agree with @Mutiny. The thing is, I'm a startup founder, I need money to increase my value. People use these Stimulus checks for partying, but those paying attention are sacrificing partying in exchange for future wealth, like I am at the moment.

Free money is fun and exciting...except it's not going to be free in the end because when you think about it, we'll end up paying for it somehow. The price of groceries started going up a year ago in March of 2020 once hoarding began for food, toiletries, necessities, and now we have inflation all around with gas, lumber, automobiles, etc.
For those who think the very rich are going to pay for everything...yeah, right. Didn't it just come out that Bezos didn't pay any income tax? When people like him aren't paying due to the many loopholes that have been in places for years (even pre-Trump) then that means the middle class and lower class end up covering the bill. That means you're paying more for that stimulus check when all is said and done. Not worth it.
The first one was necessary. I was grateful that friends who were out of work could finally put some food on their tables until the government gave businesses permission to open back up (sad, huh).

The money is not free. It's buying us off. To keep our mouths shut.
I wish they would do away with unemployment benefits. It's ridiculous they are getting more for NOT working. We're becoming even lazier.
As others have said here & on many places, everything is going up in price. Just makes people to be even more dependent on the Government.
I believe in learning to take care of your own self & family. Yes, you can rely on some help but learn to be self-sufficient more.

You're right! I don't know why they're keeping the benefits going until September in some states? Others have voted to end them now so they can get the economy going back in the right direction again.
