What country do you consider to be the strangest?

I consider Israel pretty strange, due to the fact that you have all kinds of diverse people that do not know how to get along for long enough to actually benefit the nation as a whole.

Of the countries I have visited... France.

Why? Because the people are kinda strange and don't hide what they think. lol. I've been there a couple times and everywhere we went, we met people who were extremely rude to us when they heard us speaking English. Then, when they'd find out we were from Ireland, they'd suddenly get overly nice. "I love Ireland bla bla bla." I think it's some grudge they have against England, but isn't it time to let bygones be bygones? England has done so much more wrongs to Irish people, but most do recognise that it's not the people who are alive today that are responsible. >.>

Oh, I probably would have to include Taiwan in my list, as technically it is a separate government entity to the Chinese Mainland, and both Taiwan and China have been trying to claim each other, and claims both are not the legitimate government entity of China as a whole.

America.

Because so many are fine with paying taxes to fund police and fire services but against the idea of paying taxes to fund health care services.

Still, what's wrong with that? PAying to keep the police and fire going. They are just as needed then the health

Are you asking what's wrong with hypocrisy or what's wrong with paying for healthcare through taxes?

Yeah, that's the same deal with Canada and the US for some countries.
