The Travel channel

Aside from the Food Channel, another cable channel that amuses me is the Travel Channel. Although it is mostly about European countries, sometimes they also feature Asian cities like Singapore and Hongkong. We travel at least 3 times a year and this channel is one good source of information on countries that we can prospect to visit.

I watch the travel channels mostly for shows like GHOST ADVENTURES, THE DEAD FILES, and SCARIEST PLACES IN AMERICA. Their horror programming is pretty good. Worth watching or tivo'ing on weekends.

Travel channels are really interesting as they make you discover things and makes you feel like you are with the host and traveling around the globe.
