Your Quick Review
Pros:
- I really like your banner, its very 2.0 style which gives it a very modern look which is great for the type of forum you have. The buttons on your forum are showing up odd on my browser (FF), Half of them are not showing up at all therfore means I cannot access some parts of your forum.
- I personally am not a big fan of Proboards at all. There templates are sometimes dull and boring but I think you have made your froumc ome alive. Although I can tell you are using Proboards, after a while the though vanishes and I am left with a nice forum.
- Your stats are good! You dont have many members but if you compare the stats of members to posts your figures line out well. If you continue as you are and keep moving on up with the posts and members, gradually you will see a change in activity and you will get more posts. All I would say in your position is to advertise to
Targeted audiences, For example advertising on a television guide website with good traffic. Your stats would fly through the roof!
Cons:
As I stated before, I am not a fan of Proboards. I think you should move to a host (free if you wanted) and upload either MyBB or phpbb3, I think there the best. By doing that you can also get rid of those awfull ads which are currently alying right on prime spot at the top, it sticks out like a sore thumb. What also makes it worse is that the ads are white and your forum is a darker colour so the ads can be missed.
When I went to your forum and went to some of the topics I was quite shocked to find taht the admins avatar (U) was of a nearly naked lady
😛 I know that it is only an avatar and you are using it as a joke? But you may be giving the wrong image to newbies on your forum that dont know who you are.
Final/General Thoughts: Nice forum but I think you made some bad decisions.
