The link wasn't working to display the copyright and I asked on his site and someone got back to me saying that because it was an old skin not to worry about the copyright 🙂

Did Smangii say that? If it was not him, you need his permission to not use the copyright. It works here: http://www.baseballclubhouse.proboards.com/ FYI.
 
Yeah, you really need to put the copyright back on it, unless Smangii specifically said so.
 
I have had personal correspondence and he said it was fine for me to do that 🙂
