Thank you for your reply. Before I add my two cents let me explain a few things. The questions I ask are not to make me appear any more or less intelligent than anyone else, and are not meant to frustrate you. If you feel you will be frustrated or angry with my replies, perhaps you should not participate in my future threads in this board. The questions I ask are used to help expand each others' beliefs rather than accept everything that has been given to us, perceived in a three dimensional world, mandated by merely five senses.

First I notice that you mention love and peace. Yes, very strong elements when in harmony! Although, I must ask: Has there ever been peace and love on Earth? How do we know it even exists?
I thank you again for participating, and hope we can carry this discussion out further. Again, Is there aa Universal Truth?
Today I decided to visit here after a couple of months and found this thread, so I thought, why not reply? 😛
I'm not quite sure what you mean by that, but I assume you mean an absolute truth on every matter. In that case, I believe that there IS a universal truth about everything. To name an example, yes, the Truth about our creator is unknown. People believe in different versions of the "Truth" about our creation. Some call upon God or some supernatural being, some talk about the Big Bang. Any of these versions could be the absolute Truth, but we do not know the absolute truth yet.
Another question is: Does Truth matter? I'm personally with the idea of relative importance: If it doesn't affect us, then why should we care? Also, sometimes knowing the absolute truth is impossible or very difficult at least, so in those cases is it really worth seeking the Truth?
EDIT: oh wow, didn't notice the nearly 2 months of inactivity on the thread. This sub-forum sure isn't popular around here. 😀
Peace and love are rather subjective terms. Whether they've ever existed on earth depends on one's definition of those terms, and these debates get pretty nasty when you start picking on words.
Now, if by Universal Truth you mean an objective truth, then I say yes again. There is always an objective truth. In crime cases, there is always a universal truth, which sometimes is found and sometimes isn't. People might think different suspects are guilty, but in reality, only one/couple of them have ACTUALLY committed a crime.
A wise man once told me, "If someone says he knows The Truth, run as fast as you can and don't look back."
There is no Universal truth, for that to happen the whole laws of physics would have to change, logically if you have truth, then you have to have untruth, without one you cannot have the other.
