Let's face it, it's a sad fact of life, but just as success creates more success, being popular makes you more popular.

But, what about the little people who come and go and we almost never hear about them... we never speak their names... we never have the chance to run our fingers across the screen, touching the very words they've just typed. Not everyone can have their own fan club, or get their pictures in the paper the way Madonna does. Not everyone can be in a position of responsibility where we're likely to find ourselves looking up to them.

But today, you have the opportunity to make someone's day. This is your change to make another member... someone who is a mere nobody... to feel on top of the world. Pick a name, any name, preferably someone we don't hear from very often, and kiss up to them all you want.

Sing their praises, tell everyone how they helped rotate your tires, of how they were a hero for single-handedly capturing that guy who was stealing women's socks mentioned in another post - make up stuff, it doesn't matter. Bow down, kiss their feet, and slobber all over them to your heart's content because, not everyone gets to have their own appreciation thread.

Have fun, don't hurt anyone's feelings, and above all, don't leave anyone out. 😀

Because there are always those that arent as noticed and will stay, and help out, but never get appreciated for it. 😛

I am not talking about those that come and posts a few times and then leaves. I AM talking about THOSE WHO DON'T get thanked for something, or those that are here, and makes daily posts, but never seem to have allot of an impact on the forum.

The fact is; EVERYONE is thanked in some form of way, even if it's not shown at all. Just because we don't say "thanks" in a thread doesn't mean we're not thankful.

You're new to this forum, dentist, so you wouldn't really know any of the workings that go on here.

All the current members are good friends, we appreciate eachother and the things we each do, even if it's not said in a post.

btw, thanks for the -rep. Always good to have a new person to the forum -rep without knowing the forum's workings.

I don't need to know a forum's working if a member of the staff, no matter how insignificant initiates an insult, in which a second person also insults because of it. I see it as bad moderating or such, if members are given a reason to insult someone, just because staff did it.

I really don't like this thread, and I know it will cause problems because they feel under thanked over whatever you want to call it. Well you know what, it's the internet, not real life. There are some people on here that want want want and never give give give. Simple.
