The Walking Dead

I haven't read them all yet, but there's similarities. Some of the characters are different/new, some of their personalities change and the timeline of events is different too. Like they don't spend nearly as much time on the farm as they did on the show. I enjoy them both though 🙂
 
There was a Walking Dead marathon on all day; it was a perfect way to spend the saturday. Is anyone else excited for the new episode coming out tomorrow?!
 
Really enjoyed the episode, and watched The Talking Dead after too 🙂 What did everyone else think?
 
I really liked it, but I'm super sad that Daryl left he was my favorite. I don't think he will be gone forever though.
 
So next week is the season finale! What is everyone's thought on the most recent episode? Predictions for the finale? Be sure to use spoiler tags if necessary 😛
 
I don't really expect a great deal when it comes to the walking dead, the writing is sh!t and there's no real excuse for it since they are writing for a zombie apocalypse, there are endless possibilities for brilliant story lines!

I still love the show but have just accepted its never going to be something great like Dexter, its more on supernatural or true bloods level.

The Andrea bit of the last episode should have been shorter and used to actually build some tension which would have freed up a sh!t load of time so the prison fight could have been better & throw in some more zombies for fook sake!
 
What was everyone's feeling about the season finally?

I think the way Andrea went out was what her character would have done.
 
I'm really surprised that they killed her off. She's one of my favourites in the comics so I was really hoping she'd redeem herself and become more similar to the character we see in the comics.

It'll be interesting to see what happens with Carl, he's definitely gotten more cold. And it's great to see Tyreese with Rick's group as well too!
 
I think Carl is getting cold too. The "Clear" episode is wonderful. The episode is basically about the more softer and humane side. In "Clear", Carl and Michonne, show a softer side of themselves. Part of me think having Michonne is like a substitute mother figure for Carl.
 
Oh my god! The summer needs to hurry up and end so the new season can come on!!
 
@Myhostv: Same! I can't wait until October, seems like forever away. I'm hoping Telltale comes out with their game soon to tide us over 😀
 
It was pretty interesting to watch yeah, definitely hyped the show up pretty good.

The first episode was pretty awesome as well 😀 Did anyone else catch it? Thoughts?
