You need a better style and get a top level domain. Also I won't recommend opening a webmaster forum unless you have good knowledge of CSS, HTML, PHP, Javascript, SEO, blog software, and popular forum software.
I have good knowledge of all except Javascript and SEO, which are both moderate. Also I thought that the style was quite nice, what dont you like about it? I am in the process of getting a TLD.
It's okay. the skin is okay and I don't like the description under your forum's title "the only corner of the web". You also need to remove and combine forums when possible as it looks empty. I suggest you have a server side forum for php and asp, a browser side forum for HTML and CSS, and a client side forum for Javascripts and so on. Also combine your off topic forums into one or two because only large forums need very many off topic forums.
