Can you imagine a world that is shattered? Governments don’t work, and they don’t do anything for the people. They simply wish to gain power and control the people who they are supposed to protect.
People that lack personal beliefs. Peer pressure influencing every decision. True connection that is near extinction as if we are simply pieces of paper in a stack that just happen to come into contact with each other.
Love, even more rare than real connection, and corrupt in every aspect. Pain being the result of it a lot of the time. Imagine falling in love being such a huge thing that people forget to take care of themselves, and work on the world as a whole.
Imagine people forgetting what we need. Food. Water. Shelter. If airplanes in the night sky were like shooting stars, it would not be a personal belief. The amount of hope in this world I am describing would be so low, that people would not have enough stars or birthday candles to make a wish on.
There would not be enough ground for the amount of knee-supporting praying that people would need. However, prayer would be disregarded as people would forget their beliefs. I am not saying that prayer is just to a god. People in this world I am describing would not even think of improvement, or ask for help.
Can you imagine this happening in the future? If so, doesn’t it sound troubling? It does to me.
So today, any day, make a change.
