The worth of domains

Hopefully this is the right forum for this topic.

Just a question to those who occasionally buy/sell domains, how do you decide the value of a domain? Or more specifically, what factors do you look for in a domain when considering buying one?

When I look in to a domain, I look for a specific thing such as if I were to bu a name for my company or so. When I buy domains generally, I look for keyword rich domains or short length. Examples of this would be my website, http://gfxtutorials.com and also some domains that I bought before including seoop.net and sivrr.com. Short length.
