Just watched the third one. These are actually quite cool movies. Anyone else seen or heard of the movie series?

I enjoyed the first Wrong Turn movie, but haven't kept up with the series. Seems to me like they'd be cheap knockoffs that have little to do with the first movie, with different actors entirely.

I have seen the first two "Wrong Turn" films. As horror movies go they're solid. The makeup effects used to render the inbred, disfigured hillbillies are marvelous. I believe the fourth film in this series, a straight to video(DVD) movie, will be out fairly soon. The trailer for it can be seen on YouTube or at Dread Central. These films feature extreme and graphic violence and gore. They're obviously not for everybody but horror movie "gorehounds"(like myself) should enjoy the "Wrong Turn" films.
