I'm a member of one of the biggest call of duty forums out there atm and i have a few suggestions for you, an important part of the CoD community is news, you should have some sort of staff managed news section (a site portal) which links the topics back to your forums. Also the banner at the top looks very amateur, you should try to develop a professional logo for the forum, i'm sure you can find some GFX guys.
