Today I bought two lovely Cockateils. They are babies, 2 months old (born the last week of may). I bought them from a lady who put up a craigslist ad (that I obviously responded to). She didnt know if the sex of them, so I will probably have to figure out how to figure that out. In the mean time I will have to come up with some non-gender-specific names for these two.

I have 1 of these myself. I named him, Phoenix 🙂

Wonderful and very friendly

I just taped them fighting.. One was teasing the other one, then hopped off to go nibble on his treats. lol
Sorry, I held my phone at the wrong angle and the whole vid is sideways.

Edit:
I guess they werent fighting, someone on another forum told me this:
awww that is adorable! Theyre not fighting actually the pied is feeding the little grey one ( or maybe cinnamon cant quite tell) The little grey one is begging for food thats why its making that static noise too.

I used to have two teils myself, a normal grey like yours and a white faced cinnamon pied.....

You can usually tell a grey male by the colour of his cheeks, the brighter the orange the more chance he's a male.

I used to used this forum....

They are great experts and will most definitely help you sex them, you can also see my two on there 😉

theezy the males have considerably brighter colors then the females. Easiest way to tell is the yellow on their heads. The one in front on the first photo looks like a female. The the bird in fron of the last photo looks like a male. I had Cockateils when i was younger.

Thanks for the advice. 🙂

I was bored so I made this:

lol.. They are sitting on my monitor checking out the forum.

 That's so funny 😛
They are some of the cutest birds I have ever seen! 😀

We picked out some names for the birds. The top one is Ginger and the bottom is Cosmo.
No reason behind the names, I just googled some "pet names" and read off a bunch until we found two we liked. 😛
