This morning the Hazey passed 70,000 posts and 4,000 topics
this is a huge achievement for a site as young as we are and thank you to all the member who have contributed to that aswell.

The Hazey is always looking to bring in new and useful features to the site and we have seen numerous topics and questions about different forum software, well with the help of Softaculous members can now try out 10 types of forum software, including phpBB, MyBB and SMF.
All you have to do is click on our Demos page and then scroll down and click the try me button for each software, you will then be taken to a full working demo of that software and you will be given a username and password so you can test out the entire software including the admin panel, this gives you the ability to try before you commit to one software.
A big thank you to Softaculous for giving us permission to link to their live demos, this saved space on my hosting account and it gives you the members a great feature, enjoy!

Our latest news: The Hazey staff have for a few weeks been discussing ways of expanding our database section and after weeks of playing ideas of each other we decided to expand to have 4 new sections in the knowledge base, the first one was the video and sound making articles and tutorials. Today sees the release of the other 3 new sections;
Blog, Web and Wordpress templates - Like our phpBB database we have linked to sites to bring you the best free templates for your blogs and websites.
Comics & Literature Articles- These section is for members own writing work and also articles, so if yo are a budding writer then submit your own work here.
All these sections have release forums for you to comment and ask questions. All sections of our knowledge base is open to members to submit their own work. We aim to have a vast libary of articles and tutorials covering as many different topics as possible.
The Hazey is having it's over Christmas present hunt, it start's on the 1st December and runs till the 24th December, each day there will be a different present hidden on one of the pages at the Hazey the first person to find it wins the prize.
Each day there will be a different present hidden on a different page, the prizes range from free Hazey cash, free services, arcade access, premium service and a few hidden special treat's as well.

The present will change at around midnight (GMT) Richazey will post here when the present's position has changed
The first person to find the present and pm's Richazey wins the prize
If you win a prize you will not be eligble to win another one for 3 days.

If you do know where it is do not post it anywhere on this or another site, doing so will result in a warning. (As you will ruin the fun 😉 )
The winner of each day will be revealed the following day if the present is not found then the prize is lost and we start again the next day.

Happy Christmas Hazey members. The staff are please to reveal the new look style, Hazeyblue. The site has been designed based on our two former styles bluesilver and prosteels that designed by Christian Bullock. The new look style has taken what was good about both styles and we have created this one of a kind style. The new header, footer and border was create by our Designer Group Leader Green Cow, he also design our fab new sphere logo that really stands out. A thank you to the other designers who have helped on this style, Ashish92 for the xmas banner and A Noony Moose for the forum_list background. What is also good about the style is we use template inheritance that means it uses the bluesilver template files so both styles update at the same time meaning it is easier to run more than one style at once, Premium users, contributors and staff will have the ability to switch to the bluesilver style as well.
The rest was created by yours truely (again a big thanks to CB for his original styles), we have added so nifty new features as well. The site will snow for xmas, we have an updated menubar with custom built drop down menus to tidy all the links up (more links will appear over the next few days). We also have a new snippet on viewtopic that cleans up all the info that is displayed on a users mini profile and also we have a dashboard that use an excellant snippet for guests as well. The last new feature is our home page, I have removed the portal mod that was our home page and created a new sleak home page.
On top of all that we have also upgraded as well to 3.0.8 with no problems at all. If you notice any issues or have suggestions and feedback please post here and I hope you like it as much as I do.
The Hazey is having a sale in January from the 2nd till the 31st, all our 6 services will have 50% off. That is right we are reducing our prices by half. You can request as many times as the service guidelines allow, (e.g. For graphics you have to wait 7 days before requesting again). This offer though does not apply to Premium Services these will remain full price.
Why are we offering you this crazy deal, well as we are a British based site we like to keep with British traditions and all business have sales during January and we want to do the same, so save your TH cash till then (give our staff a break before the rush) and get double for your money in the sales.
